The 39th Beijing Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition officially opened

On the afternoon of March 23, the 39th Beijing Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition was co-sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Association, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the Beijing Intellectual Property Office, and the Beijing Huairou District People's Government, officially opened in Lake Yanxi Campus of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Ma Lin made his opening speech. Chen Jiaer on-the-spot read out the evaluation report of the 17th Beijing youth science and technology innovation mayor award. Liu Yinchun presented medals and certificates to the award-winning students. The students together with the leaders at the meeting flew the balloon symbolizing innovation and dreams. The 39th Beijing Youth Innovation Competition grandly opened in a passionate atmosphere.

At the opening ceremony, contestants from all countries and regions appeared on the stage together with Beijing contestants, who came to the stage wearing national costumes to report, showing the young people's positive demeanor.

"Discovery, innovation and responsibility" is the theme of this competition. We have invited 17 delegations from Australia, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States, as well as 20 delegations from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, to compete with Beijing's competitors in a four-day competition.
