The Award Ceremony of the 2018 Science Popularization Makers Competition "Do science popularization with academicians" ended successfully

On March 23, 2019, the award ceremony of the 2018 science popularization makers competition "Do science popularization with academicians" was successfully held in Beijing Science Center. At the award ceremony , awards were awarded to the adults and youth groups of the 2018 science popularization makers competition, such as" Top 10 Science Popularization Makers","Top 50 Science Popularization Makers","Popularity King of Science Popularization makers", "Excellent Instructors" and "Excellent Organizational Award".

Zhou Zhonghe, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, director of the Association of Chinese Science Popularization Writers, Wang Ting, director of the Institute of Science Popularization in China , Zhang Yushan, deputy inspector ,Secretary-General and Director of the Beijing Association of Science and Technology, Liu Faxian, Minister of the Beijing Science  Coordination and Publicity, He Suxing, Director of Beijing Science Center, Wu Qizhong, deputy director of Beijing Science and Technology Association Information Center, attended the event.

The competition was sponsored by Beijing Science and Technology Association Information Center, Tadpole Five-Line Spectrum Website, Beijing Science and Technology Popularization Creation Association, "Out-of-School Education in China" Magazine Co., Ltd., and supported by China Science and Technology Popularization Writers Association. So far, it has been successfully held for 6 sessions. This competition opened the youth group for the first time, successfully attracted more than 1000 young science lovers to participate in the competition, the 1130 of the entries, which had reached the highest level of the competition; A four-day science popularization training camp will be held to guide science lovers to visit scientific research institutes and exchange creative experience with academicians and experts face-to-face. The activity was publicized by the media such as People's Daily, Guang Ming online and Science Popularization Times, covering more people than 1.3 million.
