Beijing NGO Holds Discussions with WWF

On January 11, WWF China’s Publicity Director Zhou Yuan led a delegation of two for a working meeting with Xu Qiang, the Secretary General of Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges(Beijing NGO).

Mr. Xu Qiang reviewed Beijing NGO’s achievements in cooperation with WWF in recent years regarding environmental protection, UN Climate Change Conferences and their sideline events, as well as the "Earth Hour" Lights-out Campaign in Beijing. He also expressed his gratitude to WWF China for its support and help. Zhou Yuan thanked Beijing NGO for its years of support and hoped to work with the latter on the 2020 UN Biodiversity Conference—the first ever held in Beijing, and WWF Annual Meeting in Beijing. They then held in-depth discussions on the "2019 Earth Hour" Lights-out Campaign themed "Connect to Earth" and participation in the UN Climate Change Conference.
