Winners announced for the 2026 “Colourful World” China-Africa Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition

Since the call for entries for the 2026 “Colourful World” China-Africa Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition and “Youth Aspirations” Beijing Youth Art Biennale was launched in May 2026, a total of 3,364 entries from 31 African countries and 27 provincial-level regions of China have been received. After expert review and final review by the organizing committee, 172 outstanding works submitted by African artists and 853 from China were shortlisted, and 28 outstanding organizers were selected. Below is the list of winners.

The preview of the 2026 “Colourful World” China-Africa Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition and “Youth Aspirations” Beijing Youth Art Biennale will be held on the second floor of the China Millennium Monument on Friday, August 7, featuring 1,200 works (including sculpture pictures). The awards ceremony and the opening ceremony of the exhibition will take place at the auditorium of the China Millennium Monument on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 11. The exhibition will last until Sunday, August 16. Stay tuned!
