ADCG Delegation Visits Beijing

On October 10, 2023, a delegation of Allianz Deutscher China Gesellschaften e.V. (ADCG) led by its President Dr. Peter Kreutzberger paid a visit to Beijing at the invitation of the CPAFFC.

The delegation took a tour of Shougang Park where they learned about Beijing’s experience in the transformation of old industrial bases. They also went to Apollo Park (Baidu Autonomous Driving Park) and Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone, gaining a picture of the application of emerging technologies like smart mobility and autonomous driving in the field of transport and the situation of hydrogen business incubation.

The delegation got more insight into technological innovation and green development in Beijing and spoke highly of the city’s achievements in the transformation of old industrial bases, R&D and application of new technologies, promotion of new energy, etc. Members of the delegation said that they would work to promote Beijing’s best practices and experience in Germany and further Germany-China cooperation in the fields of technological innovation and new energy and inject new vitality into the friendship between the people of the two countries.
