Traditional Chinese Painting and Calligraphy on Exhibition in Russia

Exhibition of Traditional Chinese Painting and Calligraphy”, co-sponsored by the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (the BPAFFC) and the Beijing Research Institute of Culture and History (the BRICH), was held on “Beijing Day” in Moscow and St. Petersburg on July 27 and July 29 respectively. The 25 exhibits are master pieces collected by the BRICH and have attracted a large Russian audience. During the exhibition, Li Defu, a BRICH member, drew a painting on site for Russian audience and was warmly welcomed. As part of the “Beijing Day” event series in Russia, the exhibition enriched the connotation of “Year of China-Russia Sub-national Cooperation and Exchange”.
