A warm greeting to all of you. I am General Johanesa Rakotonirina, President of Association Amitié Madagascar-Chine. The traditional Chinese New Year is around the corner. On behalf of the association, I want to extend my best wishes to the BPAFFC.
About Association Amitié Madagascar-Chine
Founded in 1984, Association Amitié Madagascar-Chine is committed to promoting people-to-people friendship and cooperation between China and Madagascar. It has about 120 members, including former civil servants, overseas Chinese, and foreign students studying in China. Association Amitié Madagascar-Chine has, on many occasions, helped the Chinese embassy in Madagascar receive domestic delegations and organize activities to strengthen China’s international influence and facilitate China-Madagascar economic cooperation.
The BPAFFC and Association Amitié Madagascar-Chine established relations in 2017 and have actively engaged with each other ever since. In July 2021, Association Amitié Madagascar-Chine sent congratulations to the BPAFFC on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). In 2022, it recorded a promotional video for the “Colorful World · Biodiversity” International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition. At the BPAFFC’s recommendation, it was interviewed by China Media Group’s program We Are in Love with China, and delivered a speech at the Beijing International Forum on People-to-People Friendship via video link. In November 2023, General Johanesa Rakotonirina, President of the association attended the 2nd China-Africa Friendship Organization Leaders Meeting and paid a visit to the BPAFFC.
