On March 30, the BPAFFC welcomed the visiting delegation of Allianz Deutscher China-Gesellschaften (ADCG) e.V. led by its President Dr. Peter Kreutzberger. This is the first time Dr. Kreutzberger has visited the BPAFFC since he took office as president, and the delegation is composed of university teachers, engineers, business representatives, and influencers. Wang Yanxia, Vice President and Senior Councilor of the BPAFFC, met with the delegation.
Wang Yanxia extended a warm welcome to the guests. She stated that since the establishment of relations in 2018, the two associations have maintained close cooperation, which has yielded fruitful results in such areas as youth exchanges, culture, art, economy, and trade, in particular. Describing people-to-people diplomacy as a stabilizer for bilateral relations, she said that the BPAFFC is ready to continue acting as a bridge and working with ADCG to deepen all-dimensional, practical cooperation and inject new impetus into non-governmental friendship between China and Germany.
Dr. Peter Kreutzberger recounted his work experience in China for nearly two decades, and introduced the current state of ADCG. Noting the rapid changes in the development of Beijing, he said that ADCG is willing to collaborate with the BPAFFC to promote youth exchanges and deepen cooperation in the fields of education and culture.
During the meeting, members of the delegation shared insights from their professional experiences in their respective areas, and agreed that the two associations should keep closer ties and work to make greater contributions to people-to-people bond and comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Germany.
