Long Time No See! BPAFFC Welcomes Friends from the Netherlands

On May 29, Mrs. Wang Yanxia, Vice President and Senior Councilor of the BPAFFC met with the visiting Mr. Oey Toen Ping, President of the Netherlands China Friendship Association (VNC in Dutch) Rotterdam Branch.

Wang Yanxia extended a warm welcome to the guest after the last met four years ago, and expressed sincere gratitude for his remarkable contributions to promoting people-to-people friendship and pragmatic cooperation between Beijing and the Netherlands. She introduced the guidelines set forth at the 20^th National Congresses of the Communist Party of China, set out the decisions and plans of Beijing for advancing its development in the new era, and briefed on the people-to-people exchange activities carried out by the BPAFFC recently. She said that the BPAFFC is ready to forge ahead together with VNC Rotterdam Branch in the new era and strengthen cooperation in culture, environmental protection, economy and trade, and other areas.

Oey Toen Ping thanked Wang Yanxia for the reception. He introduced the main work conducted by the branch in recent years and shared his reflections on the relationships between China and the Netherlands and the broader Europe, saying the branch would continue telling Chinese stories to people in the Netherlands to enhance their friendship.
