Agriculture Exchange Connects Beijing with cities of Myanmar and Laos

An agriculture exchange delegation from the BPAFFC visited Naypyidaw, Yangon of Myanmar and Vientiane of Laos between Dec.14 to Dec.21, cementing ties of friendship between Beijing and these cities.

During the trip, seminars were hosted between the members of delegation with their counterparts from different organizations, including Yezin Agricultural University of Myanmar, Myanmar Fruit, flower and Vegetable Producer and Exporter Association, Myanmar Tea Producer Association, Vientiane Department of Agriculture and Forestry, etc., and best practices in Beijing’s new rural development drive and the know-hows of Beijing’s modern agriculture were shared. Invitations were also extended to the 2020 Beijing Agriculture Carnival.

The Beijing delegation also visited farms and agricultural enterprises, sharing with locals their experiences in farming and agricultural production and promotion.
