A delegation of 20 members of Korean Busan Youth visited Beijing from November 27 to December 2, organized by Busan Foundation for International Cooperation (BFIC). As arranged by the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (the BPAFFC), the delegation visited and exchanged views in Xiaomi Corporation and Alibaba Group Beijing Headquarter, and forwarded an invitation letter for Lei Jun to visit ROK, autographed by the president of BFIC, to relevant personnel of Xiaomi. The delegation also paid a special visit to the BPAFFC, where Gao Shuangjin, vice president of the BPAFFC, met with the leading members of the delegation and had in-depth exchanges on cooperation for next year.
The young people from Busan all said that they felt greatly honored to be able to visit Xiaomi and Alibaba, two top private enterprises of China, during this visit to Beijing, were deeply impressed on the innovative, inclusive and open international vision of the two enterprises, and wished to have the opportunity to intern and work in the two enterprises in the future.
Visit of the delegation was one of the achievements of the Second Seminar on Youth Exchanges among China, Japan and ROK jointly held by the BPAFFC, BFIC and Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce this May. The Youth Exchanges among China, Japan and ROK aimed to promote the friendly exchanges among youths in Beijing, Japan and ROK, and contribute to consolidating and developing the traditional friendship among the three countries.
