At the invitation of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a delegation of 16 members of the Art Troupe of China University of Petroleum and the Art Troupe of Beijing Shaolin Martial Arts School visited ROK to attend the Seoul Friendship Festival 2018 as arranged by the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (the BPAFFC) and Changping District People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. During the stay in ROK, the delegation gave three performances with delegations of 15 cities including Wellington, Los Angeles and Bangkok. Members of the delegation put on performances with profound Chinese traditional cultural heritage such as martial arts and face changing to Seoul citizens and tourists from all over the world, and played Chinese classical folk music as well as Korean folk music with exotic musical instruments such as ocarina, guzheng, pipa, erhu and cucurbit flute, gaining full recognition of the audience who applauded and screamed all the time, as well as the high evaluation of the organizing committee of the festival. This is the 9th time for the BPAFFC to organize delegation to attend Seoul Friendship Festival.
