Delegation of Indian Organizations for Friendship with China Visits BPAFFC

On November 28, 2018,Tian Yan, Executive Vice President of the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (the BPAFFC), met with a delegation of Indian organizations for friendship with China headed by Gopi Kunjuraman who is Secretary General of the India-China Friendship Association, Kerala.

Tian Yan briefed the delegation on the foreign exchanges by the BPAFFC in recent years and expressed her hope to strengthen practical cooperation between the BPAFFC and Indian partners in the fields of economy, sports and culture so as to promote people-to-people bonds between China and India. Gopi Kunjuraman said that the members of this delegation were from various regions of India and were willing to carry out friendly exchanges with the BPAFFC in the future to extend the friendship between India and China. Su Bensheng, Vice President of the BPAFFC, attended the meeting.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Exhibition Center of Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone, and spoke highly of the achievements of China’s reform and opening-up.
