Nepal Women’s National Football Team Visits Beijing

In the morning of October 29, 2018, Tian Yan, Executive Vice President of the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (the BPAFFC), met with the delegation of Nepal Women’s National Football Team headed by Manoj Man Shrestha, First Vice President of Arniko Society, Nepal.

Tian Yan welcomed the delegation’s visit to Beijing for football exchange, and expressed her hope that the delegation may improve their skills through exchanges with the women football teams of Beijing Municipality and Beijing Sport University She also hoped that the BPAFFC and Arniko Society carry out fruitful communications in more areas and further enhance the traditional friendship between the Chinese and Nepalese people.

Manoj Man Shrestha thanked the BPAFFC for the invitation, and highlighted the significance of this historical exchange as the first visit to China by the Nepal Women’s National Football Team. He said that in the next few days, the Nepal Women’s National Football Team would have technical exchanges with the women football teams of Beijing and Beijing Sport University in a serious way. He believed that this visit would be very fruitful.

In the afternoon, Tian Yan and Leela Mani Paudyal, Nepalese ambassador to China, watched the football training exchange at the Xiannongtan Stadium.
