Lebanese University Delegation Visits Beijing

To deepen Lebanese youth’s understanding of China and promote people-to-people friendship between China and Lebanon, a delegation of Lebanese University (LU) headed by Prof. Nasib Huteit of LU’s Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture visited Beijing at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. On July 18, 2018, the delegation visited the Dongsi Mosque and St. Joseph's Church in Wangfujing Street. Imam of the mosque and priest of the church presented detailed information to the delegation about the religions in Beijing and the religious culture with Chinese characteristics.

Su Bensheng, Vice President of the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (the BPAFFC), accompanied the delegation during the visits, and expressed BPAFFC’s willingness to strengthen contacts with Lebanese University for closer communications between Chinese and Lebanese youths. Prof. Nasib Huteit hoped to carry out exchanges on architecture and art with China in the future and to know more about China.
