Delegation of University Malaysia Kelantan Visits Zhongguancun Innoway

2019 marks the 45 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia. At this important occasion, a delegation of three led by the vice-chancellor of University Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) paid a visit to Beijing.

On February 26, the delegation visited the facilities of Zhongguancun Innoway such as Inno-Gallery, Baidu Brain, Intel Innovation Center, Inno-Hall (a one-stop service center), and Global Innovation Community, among others. In addition, the delegation had a discussion with the global incubation business department of Beijing Zhongguancun Innoway Scientific Service Co., Ltd. to better understand Innoway’s operation, support policies for entrepreneurship, and development planning. The delegation and Innoway also discussed ways of strengthening cooperation in talent and project.

Dr. Noor Azizi, vice-chancellor of UMK who led the delegation. said that he was greatly impressed by the visit to Innoway a year and a half ago, so this time he led the delegation on another visit in hopes of learning more from Innoway in order to set up an innovation center at UMK and seek cooperation in talent and projects.

The visit was jointly arranged by the BPAFFC and the Haidian People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
